Thumb Sucker

We had some Phillips family pictures taken last weekend at a park in Cinci. The photographer snapped this one of Isaac doing what he does best- Sucking his thumb! He's still totally a mama's boy. It seems every day he learns something new, and I'm constantly impressed at how well he understands us! He also loves to dance! I'm not really sure where he got that from- we'll have to try to video him and figure out how to post that.

New toys

Alison (my lovely wife) let me go out and buy some new toys for us. As you know I am big into photography and have wanted a digital slr for ever. A brand new canon rebel just came out and we are the proud new owner of a 10 megapixle digital slr (canon eos rebel xti) We have played with it a little bit and I am very impressed with its functions, speed, and quality of pictures. We are planning our vacation to Gatlinburg next month when the leaves change. I am hoping to take some great pictures with this. Here are some pictures of the camera.

The other toy is a brand new computer. Ours is about 5 years old and was not working very well for video editing (of the little guy growing up). It is a nice dual core amd processor Hewlett Packard computer. I was going to build my own, but the nice people at best buy gave me a great package deal (well I did have to talk to two different managers and tell them how much of a moron the first manager was, well not really, but I did want to say that) Now that we have more processing power in the computer we can do more with the photography and Photoshop, as well as get some video editing done of Isaac.

This is a little bit old, but it's cute! Brian is going to buy me a memory stick so I can easily bring pics from home to work- which is the only time I have (which is also minimal) to do things online. At home I prefer to spend all available time with the little guy.

So, GO BUCKS! I have to admit, I was very nervous about the game with Texas. Fortunately all turned out perfectly. But what is it- they are back to burning campus down again! I thought that was over with while we were there. Oh well.

Looking forward to seeing family at Talyn's birthday party this weekend. Since we all grew up, it seems we are rarely all together anymore.

Oh- another family announcement to those who haven't heard the date...Michael and Kristy will be getting married on December 2, 2006- yes, this year- in Columbus near John and Steph's house.

I'll try to do better at posting. Sorry.
